Sandra Koc

Sandra is a Chemical Engineer with a master's degree in Project Management and is Head of the Laboratory and Standardization area of CITEmadera, Peru. She is responsible for the laboratory services provided to the timber and furniture sectors and is in charge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality management systems maintained by the center, CITEmadera Laboratory being the only one accredited with ISO 17025 in the forestry sector in Peru. She upholds the importance of promoting applied research and innovation to close knowledge gaps in the sector by formulating and executing research projects in coordination with local and international institutions.
