Laura helps World Forest ID plan, resource, and evidence its impact on forest-risk supply chains. She works across project and grant budgets, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and donor reporting, supporting colleagues to track the practical applications of World Forest ID’s tools, document insights and lessons, and communicate results clearly to partners and funders. Her role also includes contributing to World Forest ID’s theory of change and impact narratives, with a focus on how scientific traceability tools can contribute to reductions in deforestation and improved accountability. Laura holds a dual MA/MSc in International and World History from Columbia University and the London School of Economics. Her research has focused on international development, sustainability, and environmental policy, with particular interest in the political economy of natural resource governance and the history of sustainable development agendas. Before moving to London, she worked in fundraising and project management in the NGO sector and supported research at the University of Washington.
