The World Forest ID Data Explorer gives users access to our global reference data, showing where verified samples and analytical coverage exist for timber and other forest-linked commodities such as cocoa and soy.

Built from thousands of geo-referenced samples, the Data Explorer visualises the areas where World Forest ID reference data supports origin verification and highlights regions where new collections could have the most impact.

Each point on the map represents verified samples from known locations, aggregated to protect collection sites while showing meaningful regional patterns. Users can filter by species, country or analysis status to explore where stable isotope and trace element data have been completed or are in progress.

The platform is continuously updated as new samples are collected and analysed, expanding coverage for global traceability and risk assessment.
