Carlos Casares is a governance and strategy expert who has spent decades facilitating complex decision-making processes for leadership teams and business families during periods of change. His understanding of how organizations work, and the importance of relationships within them, has carried through into his board work, where he has served across four continents, working directly with the people responsible for steering an organization's future. Alongside this advisory work, he has had a distinguished academic career as Professor Emeritus and Visiting Professor at several universities in Europe and South America, including the Universidad ORT Uruguay. His work reflects a commitment to understanding people and organizations, bringing clarity and perspective to complex human processes, and recognizing that both individuals and institutions are continuously under construction.
